Thomas Waters Bio
He's the founding Chapter President for Young Americans for Liberty at State College of Florida (SCF). Along with being the Chaplaincy Intern at SCF's Campus Ministry, he's seeks to educate others on moral responsibility and liberty. Thomas has worked with and received training from other groups such as the Leadership Institute and the Florida Student Leadership Forum. Currently, Thomas is in his sophomore year at State College of Florida, where he's on a transfer path for a degree in political science. Other projects include Blessing Bags for the Homeless, an effort on behalf of SCF's Campus Ministry to deliver supplies and food to the homeless of Manatee and Sarasota counties.

Topic:
He'll be discussing who we are as the Young Americans for Liberty (YAL), and our goals to educate the public on Constitutional, Libertarian, and Conservative values.
As we currently speak, colleges across the United States are facing a free speech crisis, where staff and students of differing ideologies stifle the promotion of our values.
In our efforts to educate students on the principles of liberty, we also seek to restore liberty.

To further ingrain our commitment towards liberty, we take our cause from the campus to the campaign trail.

Our vision is to build a bench of 250 liberty legislators by the end of 2022 at the state level who will advance a libertarian philosophy, ascend to higher office, and reclaim the direction of our government.

YAL is the most active and effective libertarian/conservative youth organization advancing liberty on campus and in American electoral politics. Our four-step mission is to identify, educate, train, and mobilize youth activists to make liberty win.
