James Coon : ProLife Updates - 10/15

40 Days for Life is a big part of the movement to protect life. Find out what’s happening in this growing national movement from Dr. James Coon at TPM Tues Oct 15 at 6 pm at Mixon’s Farms. You’ll get the inside scoop about both the local and national action.

Dr. Coon is a former Catholic and public school educator who dedicated over 35 years in administration, with 21 years as superintendent of schools in New York and North Carolina. He has taught or administered at every grade level.

He has worked his entire educational career to help improve the human condition for all the children whom he served. He has and continues to be a dedicated advocate for life.

Additionally, he has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 25 years. He currently serves as the Culture of Life Director for Council 13341, the Diocese of Venice, and as the Florida State Ultrasound Chairman.

He is instrumental in developing a 10-Part Strategic Plan to help guide the pro-life work of the Knights of Columbus within the 10 counties in southwest Florida called the Diocese of Venice.

Highlights from TPMs Tuesday Oct 15 Meeting

Community activist Glen Gibellini reported that several state representatives raided the state’s Sidowski Fund for low income housing. Although Gov. DiSantis said leave the fund alone, local state reps skimmed over $200 million from the fund last year.
