Laurie Cardoza-Moore

Laurie Cardoza-Moore is a globally respected “go to” voice on the frontlines of battle for the ideological, social, moral and religious mind of this generation.  As Special Envoy to the United Nations for human rights and anti-Semitism on behalf of 44 million Christians, to her leadership in statehouses through PJTN’s Anti-Semitism Awareness Resolution, Laurie is a tireless advocate.

A home schooling mother of five, Laurie Cardoza-Moore’s original “wake-up call” was the discovery of anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, and anti-American content in her children’s textbooks.  The revelation of the early seeds of indoctrination of America’s children began her quest in the early 2000’s to bring awareness and change through every avenue she could reach:  legislative, media, advocacy, and ultimately the development of PJTN programs and documentaries that are shared and educate on a mass level. These are her vehicles of choice since PJTN was founded by her in 2005—literally born on her kitchen table.

PJTN programming in support of Israel—principally the 30 minute television series Focus On Israel for which she serves as both host and executive producer—today reaches over 2.6 billion potential viewers on a regular basis through a network of close to two dozen TV affiliates and satellite carriers including globally-telecast Daystar TV. PJTN has produced three Emmy Award winning long form documentaries to date: The Forgotten People, Israel Indivisible, and Boycott This!

Laurie has been appointed, awarded and recognized by her peers for her leadership, including: —The President’s Council of The National Religious Broadcasters, (NRB) —The “Top 100 People Positively Impacting Israel” by the Algemeiner —An Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theology from the Latin University of Theology —The “Friend of Israel Award” by The Center For Jewish Awareness —The “Goodwill Ambassador to Israel Award” given by Israel Consul General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

Michelle Grimsley, Candidate, FL State House Dist 70

The normal for most of District 70’s constituents has become working multiple jobs in an attempt to make ends meet, having little to no savings, living paycheck to paycheck, not having a primary care physician and being forced to decide between necessities.

This does not have to be our normal!  We can reshape and rebuild a better community.   I believe that the first step in getting us on the path to a Florida that works for everyone, is assuring access to affordable healthcare for all. We should not have to play a game of chance with our lives.  Healthcare is a basic human right.     Investing in Florida starts with investing in Floridians. Our state has one of the largest economies in the country and our residents deserve quality jobs. One of my priorities is to assure quality jobs come to District 70. Workers’ efforts to organize must be protected. Everyone deserves a living wage and a work environment where they are respected and feel safe.  A strong workforce makes for a strong Florida.

I am running for office because our district deserves a voice and a representative that understands the process and what it takes to bring resources to District 70.  Perspective matters.  Having roots in this district, having an investment in this district, having worked in and for this district are why I should be your next State Representative for Florida House District 70.

I have stood on your porches, chatted with you at the grocery store and community events, joined you at club and organizational meetings, worshipped with you and supported you and have been a voice for you.  That is servant leadership.

Let's create a new normal for FL House District 70! See https://www.grimsleyhd70.com/

Keisha Bell, Candidate, FL State House Dist 70

Keisha Bell was born in Saint Petersburg and has continued to spend much of her life in the city she calls home. She is the daughter of public school educators, and early on they instilled in her the importance of an education. Keisha graduated from Dixie Hollins High School; the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology; and from Florida State University College of Law. Keisha is a licensed attorney with a diverse professional background in family, personal injury, and workers compensation law.  Through her work she has been able to provide legal services to those most under-represented.
Once Keisha graduated law school, she knew her passion was to provide legal representation for individuals who could not afford the hefty cost of private counsel. She moved to Jacksonville to practice at a Legal Aid organization providing such services. Keisha delivered an impactful training presentation at a conference, which led to her receiving an offer to lead a Family Law Project covering DeSoto, Hendry, Glades, and Lee Counties through a Fort Myers-based Legal Services organization.

However, Keisha found herself at crossroads after having seen firsthand the devastating impact of Hurricane Charley on the State and on the region’s poorest, most marginalized communities. Keisha contemplated if her life’s work was truly making a difference.

Knowing there was more to be done, Keisha then returned to Saint Petersburg, inspired to spearhead the Youth Conference Program, through which she facilitated over 100 conferences throughout public schools in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. Keisha cultivated the values instilled in her from a young age to serve.

After years of accomplishments in non-profit work, inclusive of managing a Federal Community Partnership Grant to assist with reducing health disparities of diabetes and childhood obesity in Saint Petersburg, Keisha returned to practicing law full-time. Since then, she has worked for the State’s Office of Attorney General, in addition to serving as private counsel. Even after moving on from Legal Services, Keisha has routinely provided pro bono services yearly.

Currently, Keisha is a member of the Community Planning and Preservation Commission; the Fred G. Minnis Sr. Bar Association; the National Organization for Women Pinellas County Chapter; a Columnist for the Weekly Challenger newspaper; and formerly: on the Executive Committee and Governance Committee of the Foundation for a Healthy Saint Petersburg’s Board of Trustees, member of the Saint Petersburg Chamber, member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers Pinellas County Chapter, and member of the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum. In addition to her wide community involvement, Keisha consistently mentors students through Pinellas County Schools.

Keisha firmly believes the constituents of District 70 deserve a Representative who will not be complacent. Her whole career she has asked herself: “What more can be done” and has gotten off the sidelines to do it.  She will fight for access to affordable healthcare, funding for our public schools, and a livable wage. She knows that the dysfunction in Tallahassee has got to stop.
